Referral service only
Central Texas Storm Shelters is a referral service that connects homeowners with independent installers. We are not a contractor and we do not sell, install, inspect or warrant storm shelters or safe rooms. Any agreement for products or work is between you and the installer.
No endorsement or guarantee
We do not license, certify, vet, endorse or guarantee any installer, product or outcome. You are responsible for checking an installer's insurance, references, product test documentation and permits before hiring them. No shelter can guarantee safety in every storm.
Information on this site
Content is general information, not engineering, legal, insurance or financial advice. Cost figures are typical ranges from published third-party sources, not quotes. Standards summaries are simplified; rely on the official FEMA and ICC documents and your local building official.
AI assistant
Our voice and chat assistant is an AI. It may make mistakes. It does not give prices, schedule work or make commitments on behalf of any installer. Conversations may be recorded.
SMS program
- Program name: Central Texas Storm Shelters quote updates.
- What you get: text messages about the quote request you submitted, such as confirmation that we received it, follow-up questions about your home or timeline, and notice that a local installer will reach out. No marketing blasts.
- How you join: by checking the optional, unchecked SMS consent box on our quote form. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
- Frequency: message frequency varies, about 1–5 messages per quote request.
- Cost: Msg & data rates may apply.
- Opt out: reply STOP to any message to stop. You will get one confirmation and no further texts unless you opt in again.
- Help: reply HELP for help, or reach us through our contact page.
- Carriers: carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Privacy: see our privacy policy. Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties.
Emergencies
This site, our texts and our assistant are not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 911.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, HD Signals LLC is not liable for any work, product, delay, injury or loss arising from your dealings with an installer or your use of this site.

We may update these terms. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
