About Central Texas Storm Shelters
We help Central Texas homeowners find someone local to talk to about a storm shelter.
What we are
Central Texas Storm Shelters is a referral service. We publish plain-English information about storm shelters and safe rooms, and when a homeowner asks for a quote, we pass that request to an independent local installer who serves their area.
What we are not
- We do not manufacture, sell or install shelters.
- We do not test, certify, license or guarantee installers or products. Installers are independent businesses responsible for their own quotes, work, permits, insurance and warranties.
- We are not affiliated with FEMA, the International Code Council or any government agency.
How we may be paid
The service is free for homeowners. Installers may pay us a fee for referrals. That never changes what you pay to request a quote, which is nothing.
Our AI assistant
The voice assistant on this site is an AI. It identifies itself as an AI at the start, lets you know the conversation may be recorded, answers basic questions using the information on this site, and takes down your details for an installer. It does not quote prices or schedule installs.
